Married at the Our Lady Star of the Sea church followed by a reception at The Pavilion in Broadstairs. The day started with bridal prep at The Albion Hotel which has wonderful sea views and I was kept chilled with lashings of cold drinks on a very warm Septembers morn!

The evening ended for me with a sea fog shrouding the seafront but before the evenings end Aaron's band Symbo gave a surprise gig for the 150 guests who had come from near and far! For the romantic shots we strolled onto the beach much to the sunbathers entertainment and wonder. We managed to catch the last of the days sun before it set, an ideal location and something to remember from a terrific day!

<![CDATA[Zoe and Paul Wedding, Halstead]]> Saturday, 12th September Zoe and Paul were married in the Kent village of Halstead at St. Margret's Church. The reception, held in Zoe's parents garden a short stroll from the church in a Kata, a giant wigwam!

A reception very much different from anything I have ever seen before! A fantastic atmosphere inside and out. The garden decked with lights, fire braziers for the chilly evening and a cool jazz band playing music in the garden and the late Summer sun - a perfect combination and a wedding no one is going to forget! Zoe and Paul, a super couple, they deserved the perfect day and they got it!

<![CDATA[Sarah & Mike Walmer Castle]]> Saturday, 5th September Sarah and Mike were married in the beautiful grounds of Walmer Castle in Kent. Keeping in with a family tradition the guys braved a morning dip into the sea, unfortunately I had to hold the camera and could not join in the fun! The ceremony was held in the grounds in the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Garden. The day was beautiful and the weather was a true sunny September day with the evening sun working its magic for the bride and groom romantic shots!

Walmer Castle was originally built during the reign of Henry VIII as part of a chain of coastal artillery defences against Catholic attack from Europe, Walmer Castle has evolved over time into an elegant residence. One of its most famous inhabitants was the Duke of Wellington.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother made regular visits to the castle. Some of the rooms used by the Queen Mother are open to visitors, as is her magnificent garden, given to Her Majesty on her 95th birthday. The current Lord Warden is Admiral Michael Boyce, Baron Boyce, who was appointed in 2004.

The beautiful gardens surrounding the house also include a commemorative lawn, woodland walk, croquet lawn and a working kitchen garden. The remainder of the grounds are mostly wildlife gardens, a great place to spot birds.

<![CDATA[Jennifer & Mark, Westgate]]> Sunday, 30th August, Jennifer and Mark were married in St Augustine's, Westgate-on-Sea, Kent. What better theme for the wedding than the seaside. A great deal of work went into their wedding planning, all the way from the table decorations through to mini sticks of rock for each guest!

The fun and romantic shots were taken down by the beach, the weather just about behaved itself, with grey clouds looming and good light fading we just managed to get the shots. Throughout the shoot many heads were turned when they saw a bride and groom walking along the promenade ... can't think why!!

<![CDATA[Kim & Rob Coltsford Farm Surrey]]> Friday 21st August, Kim and Rob were married at St Paul's Church in Beckenham in Kent and then onto Coltsford Farm in Oxted Surrey.

It was another fantastic day, the weather held off and only made an appearance just as I was 5 minuets into the creative couple shots! It was then that the heavens opened! Fortunately the Best Man turned up with umbrellas to save the bride and groom. Here is a mere glimpse of their day in images!

<![CDATA[Amanda & Steve Chart Hills Golf Club]]> Amanda and Steve were married on Saturday 15th August at St. Mary's in Great Chart, Kent. The old, attractive village of Great Chart has a long history and is referred to in many ancient documents and there are several references to the sacking of the village 1,100 years ago by the Danes!

The reception was held at Chart Hills Golf Club and is a perfect venue for all occasions. Hailed as one of the finest recently-built golf courses in England, Chart Hills is the British architectural debut of six times Major winner, Nick Faldo. Set on 200 acres of gently undulating Kentish hills and this provided some great opportunities for the romantic sun set images you can see here.

The Team at Chart Hills were outstanding and can only be thanked for making everything run so smoothly!

<![CDATA[Jennifer and Steve - Yalding & Paddock Wood]]> Saturday, August 1st Jennifer and Steve were married at St Peter & St Paul's Church in the beautiful Kentish village, Yalding. The reception was held at the family home in Paddock Wood.

The weather stayed dry until the last of the creative shots were taken. I always carry white umbrellas for the unthinkable and they were put to use literally in the last five minutes of the day. Jennifer was one of those brides that was smiling from bridal preparation through to the first dance. Here are a few chosen moments from the day.

<![CDATA[Helen & Anthony, Pinner & Borehamwood]]> The 25th July saw the marriage of Helen and Anthony. A marriage of two parts, the Catholic Wedding Rite and a Greek Orthodox wedding. A first for me and a ceremony and day full of changes.

The ceremony included the Orthodox Blessing of RIngs, the Catholic Wedding Rite, the Joining of the Right Hands, the Crowing, Common Cup and the Ceremonial Walk. A marriage of real difference and I enjoyed it immensely!

The fun was only just beginning because the Wedding Breakfast and Reception was held at the Holiday Inn in Boreham wood. Again the evening was full of events that made the whole day exciting. Traditional Greek dancing the Groom dancing with the Best Men, the bride dancing with all the women and the traditional pinning of money to the Bride and Groom. A wonderful event. These images are amongst the many that go to tell the story and the first time I have photographed a Cash and Carry!!!

<![CDATA[Hannah & Tim Eynsford Kent]]> The church bells at St Martin of Tours in the beautiful village of Eynsford, Kent, rang for Hannah and Tim on Saturday, 18th July.

Eynsford is set in the Darent Valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the North West of Kent. The picture postcard village of Eynsford has roots dating back to Saxon times. The church lays opposite the old ford, a place that has seen generations of families come along to enjoy and play. Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate their marriage with the reception being held at High Rocks in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
