California Dial (NEW Stamped) With 616 Feet

The First Machine Stamped California Dial (same as the authentic 1940/50's dial):  The symbols (numbers) on this dial have been Machine Stamped, ie made from a special tooling or stamp. Unlike previous dials which were laser cut (too modern) these dials have the nice rounded surface around each symbol which indicates the dials are stamped. This was visible on the genuine dials which were made using the same methods and shows the difference between plain and stamped dials. 

Important Points.
All Dials come with 616 Dial Feet Only (remove and use watch-tape if these are not suitable)
You need to add your own lume
Surface is high gloss (same as the gen)
Tiny Marker added at 3 o'clock for perfect alignment

How to reduce the gloss and age the dial (make it look old).
Use a course rubbing compound usually sold in a car accessory shop
You need to rub carefully course compound will reduce the shine but don't rub hard
Be careful not to use too fine a compound as this will do the opposite of what you want and polish the dial
Authentic dials were not Matt when new they had a shine but try not to make the dial totally Matt or Very Shiny. These dials look better when the surface has been re-worked. It is possible to rub with 1000 or 1200 (super fine) wet and dry paper then finish with rubbing compound but you must be extremely careful not to rub through the treated surface.
